What Is Family@XIC?

Family@ is the parents’ association for Xàbia International College.

It is managed by a dedicated team of parent volunteers who collaborate with staff and students to enhance the school community.

We share significant discussions with the school, and coordinate enjoyable events and activities for both students and families, creating valuable opportunities for connection, collaboration, and fun!

Family@ isn’t a traditional PTA — it’s much more relaxed, inclusive and tries to bring together parents, staff, and students in the spirit of community.

Proud organiser of the annual XIC festive fair bringing the festive spirit to the XIC community.

Enthusiastic about developing the art competition into an art & literature talent showcase.

2nd Hand Uniform Sale

Helping to fund other Family@ events, the second hand school uniform sale has become a great meet & greet event at XIC.

End of Year Social

Our End-of-Year Social, with drinks, snacks, and fun activities to celebrate before summer begins.

Family@ Hikes

Parents excited to explore the beautiful nature in the Marina Alta on XIC family hikes with local guides.

School Events

Proud to support a multitude of events organised by the school, staff and students each year, like the Halloween Disco, International Day, Christmas performances and student graduations.

Charity & Impact

All funds raised by Family@ directly support parent association events and initiatives.

We receive no funding from XIC. Each year, we select a charity to support, donating any extra funds to give back to our local community.

2025

Javea Cancer Care

Through fundraising and community support, Cancer Care Javea ensures that resources are directed where they are needed most.

By collaborating with other charities and organisations, they aim to provide greater help, hope, and support to anyone impacted by cancer.

2024

Project4All (Total donations: 300 €)

Last year, Family@ supported Project4All, an organisation dedicated to providing vital assistance to the homeless and those in need across the Costa Blanca region.

Make A Smile (Total donations: 500 €)

Make A Smile (Total donations: 250 €)

Make a Smile Charity is entirely run by dedicated volunteers. Their mission is to raise funds to support more than 100 children in care and to provide them with education, life skills, and opportunities.

They aim to ensure that when these young people leave care at 18, they have the confidence, tools, and knowledge they need to excel and build successful futures.
